Welcome to Cedar Lake!

Our lake is located in Van Buren County in Southwest Michigan. The Cedar Lake Recreation Association is dedicated to promoting a clean, safe lake environment. Cedar Lake ranks among the cleanest and clearest lakes in the state and we are dedicated to maintaining our beautiful natural resource.

News and Upcoming Events

Fourth of July on Cedar Lake

Independence Day will be celebrated a couple of days early this year due to July 4th falling on a Tuesday. The daytime boat parade will begin at 11 A.M. on July 2nd with staging to be in front of Mark Hokanson’s dock on the west end of the lake (29554 Cedar Cove Court). The water war (not sanctioned by CLRA) will begin
immediately afterwards in the middle of the lake. All water war combatants are asked to refrain from water balloon use and rely on super soakers or similar water delivery methods. The nighttime parade begins at 8 P.M. on July 2nd, also in front of Mark’s dock. Both parades have a patriotic theme. The rain date is July 3rd. Mark has donated a new traveling trophy for the boat parade winner.

Cedar Lake Resident Signs

Joe Weist is available to make the wooden name directory signs posted at some of the entrances to the access roads around Cedar Lake. Please contact Joe if you are interested in having a sign made for you. His information is available in the CLRA directory.
